What are the Learn the Runes Cards (LTR)?
These decks are for beginners. They show you a rune, what letter(s) of the alphabet it corresponds to, & provides 3 key words associated with it. These words were chosen by making a list of meanings from various sources & then choosing the 3 most common ones. Each card has only basic information associated with each rune, making it easier for you to learn.
What runes or alphabet do you use on the cards & products?
We use the oldest form of the runes, The Elder Futhark, which is the basis for all subsequent forms of the runes.
What are the Rune Cards (RC)?
These card decks are perfect for you if you already have a basic or in-depth knowledge of the runes. Each card features a beautiful unique image that coordinates with the deck’s overarching theme. You may use these cards as you would any rune set made from different materials.
Is it easy to learn to read & write the runes?
Yes. Unlike the confusing process of learning a language, there’s no conjugating of verbs to worry about! You just have to use our LTR cards like flashcards & soon you’ll be able to read & write the runes like a true Viking!
